Final Kiss

Let me kiss you
for one more time
before you fly away from my life

A kiss wont stop you
neither my tear filled eyes
but before its awarded
to an unknown man

let my tongue
saviour the moment
before it dries;
An oasis to a desert.

Oh Mother!
My heart aches as a kettle warms up on an Owen
My blood boiling down my veins
clammer for a way out
It has lost its colour
a yellowish orange lava
which now feeds the dead
I have not called you for days
I fear my own sound
which I don’t understand
could drop you from the precipice
More pain and misery is soon to follow ;
your thousands prayers
to saints of all hue
would never deliver you from this hell
Happiness had evaded you
the date of 13th whence I had cut
from your bondage and emerged from your life.
Even the small strokes of happiness
that luck had brought to us;
But a bigger much harsher pain waited
every twist of my tale.
Last decade I have been
far in distant lands fending for a
brighter, happier life
Now the struggles are soon to end
and my ideals deeply
ingrained in me by you
have all fallen apart.
I now return without a shade of
any lasting moral,
a defeated soldier unable to keep your word.
I wish to fly away further
Where even the distant clouds
Would never bring my news
To those depths allow your son to dip
and pray for his redemption....
