Rainy Day

Drops ! those early drops
fallen on my lips
oh they were like kisses
send by u as a gift
through the angels of god

Hoom !!! the smell of fresh earth
entranced me out of my senses
Oh my wind whence did u
bring the fragrance of her hair

I danced out of joy
hearing those sounds of splatter
oh my rain why did u rob
the laughter from her tongue

The mist poured over me
engulfing me to the full
oh misty rainbow ! how did u
take the colours of her life

I lay naked
in the pools of water
hugging her close to my body
oh god ! what i had done
to send her as my eternal gift....
